Arthur Jongewaard was born in Des Moines, Iowa and attended the University of Iowa.  He obtained his BA in Cinema and Comparative Literature in 2004.  He has been a member of United Scenic Artists local 829 since 2011 and has worked as an Art Department Coordinator, Assistant Art Director, Art Director and Production Designer.  He currently resides in Brooklyn, New York.
